SoHi pitcher Danielle Hills recorded a no-hitter in Northern Lights Conference softball action on Wednesday, holding the Kenai Kardinals without a base hit in a 16-4 victory for the Stars. Hills allowed three earned runs on eight free passes (five walks and three hit batters) in four innings.
SoHi finishes conference play at 6-2; Kenai, 3-5 in the NLC, plays a non-conference game in Kenai on Friday against the Service Cougars.
The Northern Lights Conference softball tournament is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, May 25-27 in Homer.
