The 2016 ASAA State Small School Championships, hosted in Fairbanks, continued on Friday with the Soldotna Stars downing Homer 9-7 and advancing into Saturday’s double-back round. The win by the Stars eliminates the Mariners.
SoHi will continue tournament play on Saturday with a scheduled 9:00 a.m. contest against the winner of the North Pole vs Hutchison game.
