The 35th Annual SoHi Pentathlon Swim Meet, unique in its format, will be contested on Friday, September 23rd in the Soldotna High School pool.
The Pentathlon features a purely individual format with every swimmer competing in five individual events: the 100-yard medley, the 50 butterfly, the 50 backstroke, the 50 breaststroke and the 50 freestyle. Meet results and an overall champion for both girls and boys is based on the lowest cumulative time all five races.
2015 SoHi Pentathlon girls champion Marina Cummisky of Kodiak and boys champion Talon Lindquist, also from Kodiak, are both expected to defend their individual titles. Both win Pentathlon titles in 2015 as sophomores.
