The Soldotna swim team traveled to Kodiak for a pair of dual meets against the Kodiak Bears.
The Soldotna girls raced to victories in both dual pairings against the Bears; topping Kodiak on Friday 100-75 and Saturday 90-79.
On Friday, the Stars recorded relay wins in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay. Individual victories were set by Madelyn Barkman in the 50 free and 100 backstroke; Katie Creglow won the 200 individual medley and Madison Snyder won the 100 breaststroke. The Stars depth contributed to the team victory amassing 100 points.
Saturday, SoHi wins the 200 freestyle relay and individual winners included Sydney Juliussen in the 50 freestyle, Darby McMillan in the 500 freestyle and Snyder in the 100 backstroke. Depth again pushed the Star girls to a team victory.
The Star boys drop two in Kodiak falling 119-49 and 95-55 to the Bears.
On Friday, SoHi managed only two, individual victories with Ethan Evans taking the 200 individual medley and Kylin Welch winning the 1M diving.
Saturday, the Stars Evans raced to a pair of victories with wins in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke; Welch topped all divers for a second day in the 1M diving.
SoHi will host the 2018 SoHi Pentathlon on Friday, September 14th at the SoHi Pool.
