The Soldotna Stars volleyball team downed Nikiski in a four game match 25-17, 25-22, 8-25 and 25-22 at Soldotna High School on Thursday night. The Stars demonstrating a strong service game, especially in games one and four.
Morgan Bouschor lead the Stars with 11 kills and Taylor Edwards recorded seven aces. For the Bulldogs, Savannah Ley recorded four kills and Lillian Carstens, four blocks.
Nikiski hosts Seward in volleyball play on Friday, September 11th with the varsity game set for 6 p.m.
