The Soldotna Stars home volleyball contest on Friday, September 30 will be a pink rally night to raise funds for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The “pink” volleyball contest between SoHi and Kenai is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a dessert auction, silent auction and game gate receipts going to a Central Peninsula Health Foundation fund for breast cancer grants. All monies raised will stay in the local area and will be made available through the fund.
The Stars and Kardinals will face for the first time in Northern lights Conference action on Friday.
The Kardinals have also scheduled a “Killing Cancer on the Kenai” volleyball fundraiser event for October 17th, details available on KCHS volleyball facebook page.
