The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce is offering a summer music series in the Soldotna Creek Park.
Murray: “We’re going to have a 14 week series with live music and a beer garden and all the market vendors from the day will stay until 9 or so, so you’ll be able to check out some of their wares, the food vendors and the crafts will be there. We’ve got some bands signing up for every week.”
Chamber Executive Director Tammi Murray said tomorrow(June 3) will kick off the new feature with musicians Mika Day and Chris Pepper beginning at 6 pm.
She said the chamber is also working on getting more widely known Alaska bands at least once a month and considering an Open Mic portion for local emerging artists.
Anyone interested in playing can contact the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce.
