The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce has named their new Executive Director as Tami Murray.
Michelle Glaves announced in January she would be leaving the chamber.
Glaves: “I’ve actually went to school and got my real estate license and I will be flipping a couple of homes, fixing up some older homes and also selling real estate with Jack White Real Estate in Soldotna.”
Glaves worked for the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce as the Executive Director for 11 years.
Murray has worked with the chamber for four years.
Glaves: “She’s our event and coordinator person, she’s also our visitor’s center person so she’s got a lot of knowledge of the chamber. The board went out and did applications, did interviews of quite a few locals and it came down to Tami was the best fit for the job so I was very excited to hear that news.”
Glaves said she intends to stay very active in the community.
