Soldotna City Council to Consider New Student Rep

The Soldotna City Council will discuss a new student representative position at their September 24 meeting.

 

Jackson Blackwell was chosen by the Soldotna High School Student Council for the role on city council.

 

In his statement describing his interest in city government, Blackwell stated, “I brought the idea of creating a Student Representative to the City Council to Ms. Treider’s attention and together we contacted the city clerk and got the ball rolling. It would be my honor to be the first Student Representative on the Council from Soldotna High School.”

 

Tomorrow’s meeting will be held at the Soldotna City Hall at 6 pm.
