The City of Soldotna is looking for a facelift and Planning Technician Austin Johnson says they’re open to ideas. A public work session will be held this Wednesday, March 4.
Johnson: “So this is a good chance to kind of present to the public some of the ideas we’ve had. Everything’s not finalized, because we definitely want people’s opinions to have weight, but we have done some of the leg work, to present some options to people to say, ‘Do you like this? Is it a good idea or not?'”
Johnson said they want to discuss designs for new gateway signs, utility pole banners, and wayfinding signs, as well as landscaping and maintenance.
The regular Planning & Zoning Commission meeting starts at 5:30, and the public work session will begin immediately after, around 5:45-6:00. For more information, call 714-1234.
