A 52-year-old man was arrested in Soldotna in the early morning hours Wednesday for driving with license suspended. Jimmy Davis of Soldotna was stopped by Alaska State Troopers on Marshal street for an equipment violation in a blue 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
A subsequent investigation revealed Davis was driving with a suspended license. His license was suspended from December 8, 2016 to March 7, 2017 for a DMV point system violation.
Troopers report that Davis has a history of having multiple driving with license suspended / revoked conditions. His previous convictions include driving with license suspended and driving with license revoked incidents ranging from 2014 to 2016, along with 6 mandatory prior court appearance citations. Davis’ most recent driving with license suspended conviction was on October 26, 2019.
Davis was arrested for the misdemeanor crime of driving while license suspended and was remanded at Wildwood Pretrial.
