City of Soldotna scholarship applications are due next Friday, March 28 by 4 pm.
Heather Dukowitz with the City explained how the scholarships were divvied up this year.
Dukowitz: “This year we only have a total of $7,000 that we can award so we’ve divided that up into 12 scholarships: five vocational scholarships, five academic scholarships, and two adult scholarships.”
Both the vocational and academic categories will award the top recipients $1,000 scholarships.
Applications and additional information for eligibility can be found on the City of Soldotna’s website.
The scholarships will be awarded to recipients at graduation ceremonies throughout May.
