The City of Soldotna has been working to overhaul their website and now said they are aiming to launch in March.
Planning and Geographic Information Systems Technician Austin Johnson gave us an update.
Johnson: “We’re finishing kind of moving some content from our old site and updating some content so people can look forward to getting all kinds of their questions answered on our new site and it should be up in a couple months, we’re looking at launching sometime in March.”
He also listed some of the new features users can look forward to.
Johnson: “There’s going to be online payment for utilities systems, there’s going to be frequently asked questions, there’s going to be forms that you can download and fill out before you come in to save you time and there’s just a great new look, there’s awesome new pictures, and there’s awesome new information.”
Johnson said they are aiming to capture a broader audience and during the course of the changes have been partnering with local photographers and are improving the mobile accessibility of the site for phones and tablets.
