This weekend the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce will hold their Christmas in the Park at the Soldotna Creek Park.
Executive Director Michelle Glaves said Triumvirate Theatre’s A Charlie Brown Christmas will kick off festivities at 4 pm.
Glaves: “We’ll have hot chocolate and cookies and coffee and all kinds of good stuff and we’ll have the lighting of the tree as well at the end of Charlie Brown Christmas.”
That event is free and open to the public and heaters have also been donated to help stave off the cold.
