The Soldotna Stars baseball team enters the Southcentral Conference baseball tournament as the #1 seed, and the Kenai Kardinals earn the #3 seed for the three-day conference championship, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 through Saturday, May 25, at Kodiak High School.
Kenai opens against #7 Redington on the Kodiak Field at 9 a.m. on Thursday. SoHi plays #8 Grace at 3 p.m.
The Soldotna Stars recorded a 9-1 conference record; Kenai finished conference play at 6-3, and the Homer Mariners own a 6-4 record.
Three automatic and the possibility of three at-large berths are on the line at the Southcentral Conference Baseball Tournament.
