With roads clear once again and no sign of snow storms near, more and more motorcycles are on the roadways and drivers should be motorcycle aware.

Fine: “We want to get the word out to let people be aware that we have an influx of motorcycles this time of year and everybody use common sense, courtesy, safety, you know back to what you learned in the beginning, look left, look right, look left again.” 

 

Allen Ty with Harley Owner’s Group said that it is a motorcycle owners’ responsibility to be trained.

Ty: “If you are on a motorcycle, get the training, training helps a lot and we try to watch out for those that can’t see us. Studies have shown that 75% of all motorcycle accidents involve a vehicle and a motorcycle and most of those vehicle drivers just do not see the motorcycle or do not see the  motorcycle until it’s too late.”
