The Soldotna Stars boys swim team finished second to Dimond High at the Bartlett Invitational Swim Meet, the meet featured 24 schools from throughout Alaska.
The Star boys recorded two, first place finishes. Cody Watkins won the only individual title with a victory in the 50 freestyle. Watkins finished third in the 100 butterfly and was a member of the first place SoHi 400 freestyle relay, along with Jacob Creglow, Jacob Hall, and David Hall. Those teammates also finished second in the 200 freestyle relay. David Hall added a second in the 100 freestyle and Creglow placed third in the 200IM and 100 Breaststroke.
Dimond High also won the girls team title, the SoHi girls placed ninth.
Up next, the Valley Invitational Swim Meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Palmer Pool.
