The Stars were led in scoring by Anaulie Sedivy and Morgan Lemm who each had 6 points.
Boys

The Soldotna boys managed to keep things close in the first quarter of Friday’s game against the Warriors, scoring 9 points to Wasilla’s 12. In the second quarter, however, things started to get out of hand for the SoHi boys.
The Warriors, led by seven second quarter points from Gavin Morris, outscored the Stars by 17 to take a 20-point, 37-17 lead at the half.
With Izaiah Gilbert leading the charge, Soldotna tried to battle back in the third and fourth quarters, outscoring Wasilla 29-20 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to make up the first half difference. Gilbert led the Stars in scoring with 16 points.

Girls
Soldotna 17, Wasilla 66
A near repeat of the previous day’s game saw the SoHi girls in a lopsided affair that turned ugly early. The Lady Stars gave up 19 points in the first quarter while only managing to score 5 points themselves. They trailed Wasilla 40-12 at the half.
The second half saw the Stars outscored similarly to their game against Wasilla on Friday, yielding 26 points to the Lady Warriors.
A bright spot for Soldotna was Anaulie Sedivy who scored all of her team leading 8 points in the second half, including making both free throws in her one trip to the line.
Boys
Once again, Izaiah Gilbert led the way for the SoHi boys team, except on Saturday his 10 first half points spurred his team to a 27-22 first half lead. Soldotna also had five first quarter points from Cameron LaRoque, including one 3-pointer.
The Stars first half lead evaporated quickly in the third quarter when the Warriors came out hot, outpacing SoHi 19-11 in the third and taking a lead they wouldn’t give back into the fourth. Gavin Morris once again made the difference for Wasilla, scoring 10 points in the third quarter, en route to 17 for the game.
SoHi was once again led by Gilbert, who scored 17 points. Noah Kroom, with 13 points in the fourth quarter, led the Warriors overall with 21.
