The 2020 Kenai Peninsula Borough Nordic Ski Championships, featuring a mixed relay 4×2.5k Classic-Classic-Skate -Skate format with mixed teams, was contested on the Tsalteshi Trails on Saturday, February 15th. The meet serves as a competitive break between the Region III Championships (held a week earlier) and the upcoming ASAA State Nordic Ski Championships.
The Soldotna relay team of Quinn Cox, Cameron Blackwell, Erika Arthur and Bradley Walters posted the fastest relay total time of 27:29. SoHi’s second relay team of Jordan Ruffner, Jack Harris, Katie Delker and Ryder Geisler placed second in 28:23 and third place went to Kenai’s team of Josh Foster, Jayna Boonstra, Julia Anderson and Hippchen at 28:43.
