The Soldotna Stars soccer teams, girls and boys, recorded victories over the Nikiski Bulldogs on Tuesday.
SoHi Girls 7 – Nikiski 0
The SoHi girls held Nikiski scoreless in the pairing of Northern Lights Conference teams, downing Nikiski 7-0. SoHi’s Averie Smith recorded a three goal, hat trick; while SoHi’s Abi Tuttle netted four goals for the Stars.
SoHi Boys 7 – Nikiski 1
The Stars boys shared the scoring in a 7-1 victory over the Nikiski boys. SoHi’s Dylan Kuntz scored a pair of goals while Eli Sheridan, Eric Mayoral, Andrew Hammond, Johnny Smithwick, and Ben Godfrey added single goals. Hunter Holloway scored Nikiski’s lone goal, coming in the second half.
