Goals continue to be hard to come by for the Nikiski soccer teams.
The Soldotna Star girls defeated Nikiski 12-1 and the SoHi boys downed the Bulldogs 7-0 in Peninsula Conference soccer on Monday at Nikiski High School.
SoHi Girls 12 – Nikiski 1
The Soldotna girls recorded a 13-1 victory with 10 different girls scoring on Monday at Nikiski. Sadie Lane and Bay Bloom each scored twice for the Stars. Individual goals were scored by Caylee Uribe-Koivisto, Morgan Lemm, Jolie Widaman, Katharine Bramante, Jazzalyn McDonald, Kendra Rose, Zayra Poage and Caleigh Glassmaker.
Nikiski’s Mady Stichal scored the Bulldogs lone goal.
SoHi Boys 7 – Nikiski 0
Zac Buckbee scored a three-goal, hat trick for the SoHi boys in a 7-0 shutout of Nikiski. Daniel Heath, Silas Larsen, Simon Willets and Andrew Arthur added single goals.
