Amongst the wind and balloons at Justin Maile Field, the Soldotna Stars girls soccer team celebrated their senior class and recorded a 1-0 non-c0nference home victory over the Houston Hawks on Thursday at SoHi.
Deep into the second half, Liberty Miller played a rebound from the top of the box into a trio of SoHi players with the ball pin-balling into the goal. SoHi’s Sunny Miller recorded a shutout in goal for the Stars.
