An overtime goal by Galen Brantley III at 7:52 of the overtime period pushed the Stars past the Palmer Moose 3-2 in Railbelt Conference hockey action on Wednesday at the MTA Center in Palmer.

SoHi 3 – Palmer 2 OT

SoHi broke a 2-2 tie in overtime after surrendering a 2-0 advantage to the Moose.

The Stars opened the scoring with an Alex Montague goal less than two minutes into the game.  SoHi increased the lead to 2-0 on a Galen Brantley III power-play goal early in the second period.  The Stars then allowed two, unanswered scores  and the conference showdown went to overtime tied 2-2.  Brantley’s overtime goal came off the opening face-off in the overtime period with Braxton Urban winning the draw and feeding Brantley for the game-winner.
