Track and field athletes from SoHi and KCHS competed in a two-day, mini meet to fill in openings in the early season schedule and to establish qualifying times and distances for the upcoming SoHi Invitational Track and Field Meet.
Field events were held last Friday at SoHi and selected running events were contested on Monday at KCHS.

A track clearing day is scheduled for Soldotna High School on Wednesday, April 19th at 2:45 p.m. to continue clearing the track in advance of the SoHi Invitational Track and Field Meet which is set for Friday and Saturday, April 21st-22nd. The community is encouraged to rally at SoHi on Wednesday with plastic shovels; or, the invitational meet may have to be canceled. The SoHi Invitational is the largest, outdoor track meet of the early season and includes programs from the Valley, Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula.
