North Star Conference hockey features three days of competition on the Kenai Peninsula with Valley schools Wasilla, Colony and Palmer on the Peninsula for NSC games against Kenai, SoHi and Homer.

The Kenai Kardinals opened their three-game series against the Colony Knights on Thursday at the Kenai Ice Rink. The Kardinals were shutout 14-0 by the Knights.
SoHi 0 – Wasilla 7
The Soldotna Stars opened their three-game series against the Wasilla Warriors on Thursday at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
The Stars fell to Wasilla 7-0.
