Week two of the high school football season featured road games for both Soldotna and Nikiski.
SoHi 45- Colony 20
The Soldotna Stars dominated the final quarter in Friday night’s non-divisional match-up against the Colony Knights at Colony High School; recording a 45-20 victory over the Large School Knights.
SoHi lead 26-20 in the second half before rolling for 19 unanswered points to close the game. The Stars notch a second-straight victory over a Large School opponent and extend SoHi’s state record win streak to 31 straight games.
Nikiski 42 – Barrow 12
The Bulldogs traveled to Barrow and controlled play for a 42-12 non-conference victory.
