Nine individual weight-class championships and 157 total team points for the Soldotna Stars equaled a team championship at the two-day Best Western Bidarka Round Robin Rumble in Homer. Eagle River joined the peninsula teams and finished second in the team scoring.
Soldotna dominated with individual championships earned by Jacob Strausbaugh at 112, Trevor Michael at 140, Scott Michael at 152, Wayne Mellon at 171, Hunter Richardson at 189, Liam Babitt at 215, Liam Boyd at 152B, Joe Whittom at 189B. Trinity Donovan won a girls division title at 160 pounds.
Kenai finished third in the team scoring with 66 points lead by a first place for Talon Whicker at 125 and a first place in the girls 135-pound class for Sarai Bravo-Moe.
Nikiski wrestled to two individual titles with Wyatt Maguire topping the 119 class and Mayaac Schmit winning at 285.
Homer earned championships for Russell Nyvall, 145 pounds; Cecilia Fitzpatrick, girls 119-pounds; and Mischelle Wells, girls 235-pounds.
