The 2014 ASAA Alaska State Cross Country Running Championships are scheduled for Saturday, October 4th at the Bartlett High School trails.
Region III representatives include members of the Kenai and Soldotna High School cross country teams. Both Kardinal teams qualify as top-three teams from the Region III meet. The SoHi girls also qualify as a team and Aaron Swedburg as a top-15 finisher.
Look for…Kenai’s Allie Ostrander will race for a third-straight 4A girls state title; SoHi’s Oliva Hutchings will race for a top five state finish and the SoHi girls are in the hunt for a top team finish. Both Jonah and Jordan Theisen, representing KCHS, will battle for top-10 placement in the boys 4A division.
