Alaska State Troopers are responding to the scene of a plane crash near the community of Nanwalek on the Kenai Peninsula. Reports came in Monday afternoon.
Austin McDaniel, Alaska State Trooper Public Information Officer, said Troopers and a Trooper aircraft are currently en route to the scene.
“The State Troopers are responding right now to a plane crash near Nanwalek. We aren’t on scene yet, but we have folks actively on their way there right now.” Said McDaniel.
There is no information on the plane’s destination, departure point, or the number of passengers on the flight.
