Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit Seize Drugs, Cash, Firearms During Arrests

Four Kenai Peninsula residents were arrested Wednesday and officers seized meth, heroin, prescription pills, cash, and firearms following a three week investigation by the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit.

 

At around 7:30 am Wednesday morning, Soldotna SDEU concluded a three week investigation into the distribution of methamphetamines in the Kenai area.

 

The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 32.2 grams of methamphetamines and 1.2 grams of heroin, along with prescription pills, cash, and firearms.

 

Troopers wrote in their online dispatch that as a result of the investigation, the following arrests were made:

Richard Paul Morrison, age 36 of Kenai, was arrested and remanded to Wildwod Pretrial Facility on five counts of MICS 3, four counts of MICS 4, two counts of MIW 3, and one count of MIW 2.

 

Sidney Paul Clark, age 32 of Kenai, was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on charges of Disorderly Conduct, MICS 5, and two counts of MICS 4.

 

Chelsea Mansfield, age 23 of Kenai, was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on charges of Violating Conditions of Release, Providing False information to a Peace Officer, and two counts of MICS 4.

 

Rudy Bongolan, age 42 of Nikiski, was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on an outstanding arrest warrant for Parole Violations, as well as MICS 3, MICS 4, MIW 2, MIW 3, and Providing False Info to a Peace Officer.

 

Investigation is continuing.
