The Alaska State Troopers Soldotna Major Crimes Unit triggered an investigation after receiving a report in January 2022 that 44-year-old Sterling resident Cullen Yoder allegedly sexually abused a minor.
The investigation into the allegations was triggered, which determined that Yoder had sexually abused three juvenile family members under the age of 10 between the years 2007 and 2016. AST, according to the online trooper dispatch, further learned that Cullen’s wife, 40-year-old Sterling resident Dawn Yoder was told about the sexual abuse in 2013, but reportedly failed to inform law enforcement or act to protect her children.
On July 20, 2022, trooper investigators arrested Cullen Yoder on three counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, four counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, and three counts of incest.
He was arrested without incident and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial in Kenai.
A summons is requested for Dawn Yoder for three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree.
