30-year-old Robert Bruce Eddie Gum of Sterling was arrested by a Soldotna Alaska State Trooper K-9 team on Sunday, according to the trooper dispatch.

Gum was contacted by troopers cause his vehicle, identified as a silver 2006 Ford Expedition, was reported to have struck a residence. He was provided a disorderly conduct warning while on the scene which he failed to adhere to.

An investigation resulted in Gum’s arrest for driving under the influence for controlled substance. He was transported and remanded at Wildwood Pretrial on DUI, disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release after a public safety information network check revealed he’s on conditions of release from a DUI drug-related arrest that he was released from jail on in April of this year.
