A white Ford SUV burst into flames Saturday afternoon on South Kenai Beach Saturday afternoon during dipnetting season. According to videos and corresponding social media posts, some were alarmed by the fire, but most continued dipnetting.

The vehicle reportedly got stuck in the sand and the driver ran the engine to try and get it out when it burst into flames. According to social media reports, no one was hurt. No other information is known at this time.
