Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is preparing for a busy Summer 2025 travel season with new and expanded nonstop flight options. The additions aim to meet growing demand and improve connectivity for travelers heading to and from Alaska.

Starting June 29, WestJet will launch twice-weekly nonstop service to Calgary, Alberta, offering improved access to Western Canada.

Delta Air Lines began year-round service using a Boeing 767-300ER with upgraded premium seating during summer. On May 24, they introduced seasonal Saturday flights to Los Angeles.

Alaska Airlines is expanding its Midwest and West Coast networks, adding Saturday-only flights to Detroit from June 14 and Sacramento on the same date.

Hawaiian Airlines will join the lineup with seasonal service to Seattle beginning June 12. The airline will use an Airbus A330 with lie-flat premium cabins.

Meanwhile, the airport is urging caution as moose calves have been spotted near terminal areas. Officials warn that cow moose with young can be aggressive and advise all travelers to maintain a safe distance. Wildlife sightings should be reported to Airport Operations at 907-266-2600.
