Black Friday is already in full swing for many stores across the Peninsula and some stores even started their super sales last night.
Shoppers talked with us about what brought them out on Thanksgiving.
“Just kids toys… Just kid stuff… Trampoline. That’s mostly what we wanted, we got some of the tent sleeping bag combos for the grandkids too and just to kind of watch everybody have a good time… Just the good sales.”
They also had mixed responses about sales on the holiday versus Black Friday.
“I think it’s great, everybody’s eaten, now they’re getting exercise running around the store, losing the weight that they just gained eating… I don’t like it, and that’s why I don’t want to be here. But to each his own, I’d prefer it not being on Thursday but we didn’t have anything else going on… They should wait and I feel bad because I think people should be able to have a Thanksgiving Day but it’s hard to resist… Not good at all, I’m like totally against that, it ruins the holiday totally, it’s taking away from and makes everyone want to come out and do this and it’s starting earlier and earlier so it’s like woah we have to eat dinner all quick like we did.”
