Three Arrested Sunday Night In Nikiski

Alaska State Troopers arrested three people Sunday night in Nikiski in connection to outstanding arrest warrants.

 

Troopers report two people at the residence had outstanding arrest warrants. During the subsequent investigation, 30-year-old Alicia Ridge and 26-year-old Trevor Halstead were found hiding. Ridge was found hiding in between a mattress and a wall. Halstead was found hiding underneath a pile of clothes in the same bedroom.

 

Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. Ridge was accused of failure to appear for status hearing on an original charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree. Halstead had two outstanding warrants out for his arrest, one for first degree failure to stop for a peace officer and a probation violation warrant on an original first degree charge of failure to stop for a peace officer.

 

Additionally, the homeowner, 50-year-old Crystal Cook of Nikiski was arrested on two counts of first degree hindering prosecution.

 

Ridge was remanded at Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held in lieu of $1,000 bail. Halstead and Cook were remanded to Wildwood and held without bail pending arraignment.
