The 2022 ASAA State Basketball Championships concluded on Saturday night, crowning four champions at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage.
March Madness Alaska proved the equal to the NCAA March Madness with an undefeated #1 seed East boys falling in the 4A championship game on Saturday; the Nome Nanooks upsetting both the #1 and#2 seeds for the 3A boys title; and the Barrow girls downing a #2 seed to advance to defeat Sitka for the 3A girls championship. The Anchorage Christian School girls completed an undefeated season and claimed the 4A girls championship in their first season in the 4A classification.
