Alaska State Troopers along with the Homer Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance in the Homer area on Monday, March 9th.
Investigation revealed Julian Massey, age 51 of Homer, assaulted a family member causing serious physical injuries. After a standoff at the residence where Massey was located, Massey was taken into custody without injuries to himself or responding officers.
Troopers are charging Massey with one count of attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, Assault in the 1st Degree, Assault in the 2nd Degree, Assault in the 3rd Degree, Assault in the 4th Degree, Interfering with Report of a DV, Tampering with Physical Evidence. The investigation in continuing.
