Troopers Arrest Anchorage Man For Burglary In Ninilchik

Alaska State Troopers responded to a burglary off Woodsong Court in Ninilchik on Tuesday, January 10th at approximately 5:56 p.m.

 

The complainant confronted individuals inside the property. The suspects left the property in a vehicle. The vehicle description and license plate number was provided to AST.

 

AST located the vehicle traveling southbound on the Sterling Highway. AST attempted to conduct a traffic stop resulting in a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle eluded at approximately 90 mph for 10 miles before coming to a stop at a dead-end road.

 

The driver, Daniel Rosendahl, age 36 of Anchorage, attempted to flee on foot. Rosendahl was taken into custody with the assistance of K9 “Lavi”.

 

Investigation revealed Rosendahl was under the influence of alcohol. Rosendahl was charged with Burglary in the 1st degree, attempt Theft in the 3rd degree, Elude 1st degree, Driving Under the Influence, and Driving While License Revoked/Suspended.

 

Rosendahl also had an outstanding felony warrant for Vehicle Theft 1st degree x2.

 

Rosendahl was transported to Homer Jail, where he was remanded and held without bail.
