Alaska State Troopers following a chase in Soldonta early Wednesday arrested a Soldotna man on multiple charges.
AST Dispatch received a report of a disturbance at 29375 Kowakan Street at 12:34 a.m.
Troopers contacted the complainant at the residence. Investigation revealed Mathias Coup age 27 of Soldotna had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.
During the investigation Mathias returned to the residence. Troopers attempted to contact Mathias when he fled in his truck. Mathias eventually stopped and was arrested.
Mathias was then transported and remanded at Wildwood pretrial for Domestic Violence assault 4th, DV interfering with a report of a crime, DV Criminal Mischief 3rd , DV Theft 2nd, DV Robbery 2nd , Failure to stop at direction of peace officer, DUI, Reckless driving, Driving While License Revoked.
