The Tsalteshi Trails will host both a running series and a bike race series mid-week throughout July and into August.
Salmon Run Series
The Kenai Watershed Forum Salmon Run Series, a series of 5K running events on the Tsalteshi Trails, returns in 2021 with live and virtual events.
Running returns to the Tsalteshi Trails on Wednesdays beginning July 7th and running through August 4th. Racing begins at 6 p.m. each Wednesday with a kids’ fun run each night. The 5K course will be determined and changes throughout the event.

Soldotna Cycle Series
The Soldotna Cycle Series. mountain bike racing on the Tsalteshi Trails, returns to Thursday nights beginning July 8th on the Tsalteshi Trails at Skyview Middle School.
Races are scheduled for July 8th through August 26th with two race divisions running simultaneously. A 6K and a 12K race distance will be available each race night. All courses will share similar routes, some will be identical, and others will have small variations. For 2021 there will not be a Kids Ramble before the main event; unless someone is interested in organizing and hosting the Kids Ramble (contact Tsalteshi).
