Tsalteshi Trails Plan Ski Programs & Events For New Year

Snow or no snow, the Tsalteshi Trails Association continues planning events and races for the new year with classes and events for January and February.

 

Tsalteshi Sports Academy Session II:  Jan. 4-Jan. 27. 

The Sports Academy Session II features twice-a-week skate skiing lessons for adults, with coach Kent Peterson, meeting Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., for the month of January. The first half of each class is learn-to-skate-ski basics, and the second half is intermediate skills. Session III begins in February.

Register now for $10 per class for  TTA members ($80 for Session I). Or drop in on a class — $15 for TTA members or $20 or nonmembers. Please note that you MUST be a current TTA member to sign up for all classes!

Skiing is snow dependent.  Price: $80.00

Tenth Annual Ski For Women at Tsalteshi Trails:  February 1st

The 10th Annual Ski for Women event features three-person teams in a relay style event.  Teams must have three members; one Classic Skier, one Snowshoer, and one Skate Skier – no exceptions!  Student teams must be made entirely of students. Please list the school or schools.

Individuals may register and will be assigned a team.

As team captain, you are responsible for registration, payment and your team’s attendance! Only one registration per team is necessary.

This event is for females only!

Start time is Superbowl Sunday, 11:00am. Be home in time for kickoff!

A Guys Drag Race will be contested immediately following the main event. Donations accepted, no preregistration needed! Show up and show off!
