Following a week of baseball instruction at the ALB College Coaches Camp and entering the road weekend undefeated in AA American Legion baseball contests, the Post 20 Twins fell twice in conference games and dropped a non-conference pairing in Anchorage.
The Twins stand at 5-2 in conference games and 7-5 overall.
South 5 – Post 20 Twins 4 (conference game)
On Friday, South Anchorage broke a 4-4 tie in the seventh inning for the conference 5-4 victory.
East 9 – Post 20 Twins 8 (non-conference)
Saturday opened with game one of a split doubleheader going to East 9-8 in a non-conference game.
Dimond 6 – Post 20 Twins 2 (conference game)
In Saturday’s conference game, the POst 20 Twins opened with two runs in the first inning; however, failed to build on the lead and fall 6-2 to Dimond.
The Kenai Post 2o Twins return to action on Monday with a doubleheader scheduled against Kodiak at Coral Seymour Memorial Park, The first game set for 3 p.m. will be a conference game with a non-conference contest to follow.
