The Post 20 American Legion baseball Twins closed-out play at the Northwest Regional Class A tournament with a second-straight loss in the double-elimination tournament in Logan, Utah.
The Twins fell to the Cody Cubs of Wyoming on Friday 14-4 and dropped their second game 7-5 on Saturday to the Fremont Silverwolves from Utah.
The Twins collected seven hits against Wyoming; however, left 11 runners on base.
In Saturday’s contest, the Twins totaled 17 hits, leaving 15 runners on base. Post 20 held an early 4-0 lead and lead 5-1 before allowing six runs in the final innings.
