Twins 6 – Juneau 7  Eight Innings

An extra-inning error by the Post 20 Twins cost Kenai an opportunity for the win as Juneau downed Kenai 7-6 in eight innings in game one of the doubleheader.

The Twins jumped-out to a 6-2 lead after four innings with a pair of runs in the first, third and fourth innings.  Juneau answered with three runs in the fifth innings to draw to within a run at 6-5 Kenai.  Juneau tied the game in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings; and, Juneau scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth for a 7-6 Alaska Legion victory.  The twins recorded six runs on six hits with Jacob Belger recording 2 hits in three at bats.
