The Wasilla Road Warriors, undefeated in the Alliance Baseball League, extended their season record to 10-0 with a pair of victories on Wednesday over the Alaska 20 Twins on the Kenai Little League field.
Wasilla shuts-out the Twins in the league game 15-0 and defeated the Twins 18-5 in the non-league contest.
Wasilla 15 – Twins 0 League Game
The pitching staff for the Wasilla Road Warriors faced only one over the minimum in the 15-0 victory over the Twins; setting down the Twins with only 16 batters coming to the plate in a five-inning, ten-run rule game.
Mose Hayes for the Twins recorded the only hit for Alaska 20 delivering a double in the first inning.
Wasilla scored two runs in the first, two runs in the third, nine runs in the fourth and two runs in the fifth inning.
Wasilla improves to 1-0 in Alliance Baseball League play and 10-0 for the season. The Twins drop to 1-1 in league play.
Wasilla 18 – Twins 5 Non-League Game
The Road Warriors offense continued to score at will in an 18-5 victory over the Twins in the second game of the doubleheader.

ESPN 1140 AM continues the summer baseball broadcast season with coverage of the Alaska 20 Twins league contest against South on Sunday, June 28th. The league game will be broadcast on 1140AM and streamed live at www.radiokenai.com. Game time is set for 1:30; broadcast pre-game show begins at 1:15 p.m.
Coverage of the Twins will include league road and home games and state tournament games in July.
