Trailing 3-1 into the fifth inning, the Kenai Post 20 Twins American Legion baseball team rallied for five runs in the top of the fifth and eight runs in the sixth to pull away from Kodiak 14-4.
An injury-riddled Kodiak team battled through, using every player on the roster and playing some players who were forced to return to action due to lack of numbers.
For the Twins, Jeremy Kupferschmit went 2 for 3 and scored three runs; Paul Steffensen scored twice and recorded two RBI.
Steffensen earned the win on the mound in relief throwing 2 2/3 innings and allowing one run.
The Post 20 Twins improve to 6-2 in AA conference play.
