Twins Sweep Kodiak In Legion Baseball Doubleheader

Undefeated in conference play, the Post 20 American Legion Twins baseball team improved to 5-0 with a conference victory over Kodiak in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

 

Post 20 Twins 9 – Kodiak 4

The Post 20 Twins rallied from a 4-0 deficit to defeat Kodiak 9-4 in the first game (conference game) of Saturday’s doubleheader.  Post 20 recorded two runs in the fourth inning,  added three in the fifth to take the lead 5-4.  The Twins added four, sixth inning runs.

For the game, Austin Asp records the win throwing six innings and allowing four runs.

 

Post 20 Twins 3 – Kodiak 0

The Twins closed the doubleheader with a 3-0 shut out in the non-conference contest.   Jeremy Kupferschmid pitched four, scoreless innings for the victory.  Harold Ochea and Austin Ceccarelli completed the shut out for the Twins.
