Authorities arrested two individuals for involvement in incidents that took place recently in Kenai. Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Copper River Seafood processing plant in Kenai.
A disturbance initially was caused by 21-year-old Leann Redfox of Emmonak, who allegedly was intoxicated. It was revealed that during the disturbance, she had assaulted a family member and broke a window. She also was found to be on conditions of release for a previous domestic violence assault in Anchorage with one of her conditions being to obey all laws.
She was arrested for fourth degree domestic violence assault, fourth degree criminal mischief, and violating conditions of release. She was remanded at Wildwood Pretrial.
During that investigation, Alaska State Troopers also contacted 26-year-old Reuben Redfox of Emmonak, who had an active felony warrant for his arrest for two counts of assault in the third degree and for petition to revoke probation.
Reuben then allegedly fled the area on foot and was located a short time later, passed out in the passenger seat of a vehicle on the plant property. It was determined that he damaged the glass door on a vehicle during his attempt to leave.
Reuben was taken into custody and remanded at Wildwood Pretrial for the warrant and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
