The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District reports that Central and Southern Peninsula schools will be on a two-hour delayed start on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, due to heavy snowfall and changing weather.
“All staff and students should arrive at school two hours later than the normal scheduled time. Bus route pick-up times will run two hours later than normal. For more information, please see the KPBSD website, Facebook page, and your e-mail,” said KPBSD Assistant Superintendent Keri Dendurent.

The school day will end at the normal time. During the two-hour delayed start, all Pre-K sessions—both morning and afternoon—will be canceled.
